Salamat datang - Welcome to Bali Peace Park
Indonesian and Australian volunteers and designers have come together to create a spiritual garden on the former Sari club site, to honour the lives lost, the survivors and the many people from all walks of life who came together on that terrible night and in the weeks and months after.
One of the many doctors who worked tirelessly to assist the injured was Dr. Fiona Wood, the head of Royal Perth Hospital burns unit. To honour her work for the Bali Bomb victims, Dr. Fiona Wood was made "Australian of the Year in 2005 " by the former Australian Prime Minister John Howard.
